Either from this website or by loading Kiteware and clicking on "Actions" then "Check for Update."

3) Do I need to know anything before I install Kiteware?

  • WARNING: Installing software on your machine can be risky. If you have any doubts then seek advice before continuing. The Sheffield Kite Fliers accept no responsibility for any damage caused by installing Kiteware.
  • All Kiteware programs are free to use (freeware) and fully functional.

4) Why do I get a security warning or another error message when I try to run Kiteware?

5) How do I uninstall Kiteware?

Just delete the Kiteware file that you downloaded. Kiteware is just one file which can be run from anywhere on your computer. It doesn't install or modify any other files on your PC.

6) Where do all the images in Kiteware come from?

Most of them come from the Sheffield Kite Fliers image archive. The rest come from various sources and these will be shown in the software. If you wish to use any of the SKF pictures or would like to be sent the full size versions then please email help@kiteware.co.uk

7) Who designed the logos and icons?

The Sheffield Kite Fliers and Kiteware logos & icons have been designed by Mark Holterman. You can contact him via the SKF Message board (he is called "Mark E Mark") which can be found HERE.
